At Darbster Kitty, our goal is to place kittens, adult, and seniors cats with great, forever homes in New England. All of our kitties are primarily from South Florida where the euthanasia rates are very high. New Hampshire has a zero euthanasia rate and lower volume shelters. Since 2015, Darbster Kitty has transported and adopted out over 10,350 kitties.

Our kittens will go to their new homes tested negative for FeLV/FIV and a clean bill of health. They will also be fixed and UTD on age appropriate shots, including a microchip.

Our Adoption Process

APPLY ONLINE
Fill out our adoption application available on our website or in person at our facility. If you need the PDF version of our application sent to you email us at dk@darbster.net. We do have a $15 application processing fee that is NON-REFUNDABLE.
REFERENCES
Applications take approximately 48-72 hours to process, sometimes longer. PLEASE call your vet and give them permission to speak with Darbster about your current/previous pets. For adopters who rent – please also contact your landlord and let them know you are planning to adopt and Darbster will be calling them.

Our Adoption Policies

Most kitties at Darbster are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. At times we do spay/neuter after adoption.

You may place a hold on a kitty. We require you come in and meet any cat you are interested in prior to placing an adoption hold. You may place a hold on a kitty. We require a 50% adoption fee deposit WHICH IS NON-REFUNDABLE REGARDLESS OF THE REASON.

Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY.

When adopting from our partner stores Petsmart North Nashua, Petsmart Concord, and Petco Hooksett, please be aware they ONLY accept CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS through our Donation webpage or taken over the phone by Darbster Kitty.

We have a $15 application fee which helps to cover our administrative expenses of processing. The application fee is non-refundable. We do ask what pet you are interested in; BUT please note we cannot guarantee that pet will still be available once you are approved. Once approved your application is good for 12 months and you will have a meet and greet with pets we do have available at that time. We will do our very best to match you with a pet.
